So if you notice in the last panel Hobbes is alive in the same panel as Susie (bacon's mom). Her mom isn't looking at Bacon and Hobbes, so Hobbes can technically be alive. Although Watterson never had Hobbes alive in the same panel with another character, despite if they were looking toward Calvin and Hobbes or not, I thought I could stretch it considering she's imaging her mom with a lava vacuum anyway. (I may change the last panel to two separate panels, just to keep with Watterson's tradition)

Edit: There is this strip that someone in the comments pointed out www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobb… Which has Susie looking away from Hobbes, showing him alive. Although, Susie isn't looking toward Hobbes in my strip, her face is in his direction, so maybe it was best to divide the panel.
