I did this for a friend, she wanted me to teach her how to paint clouds, so I made this for her. I did this in a couple nights, I'm happy how it came out. I added in the dragon last minute, it ended up being my favorite part about this : ) Hope you like!

It's a little on the small side, otherwise this looks pretty, the taller sides and a narrower width emphasize this world's constrictied land space. With some work you could further expand upon this and make a fantasy world that is mostly sky, with small islands of terra firma.

As for the "Dragon" it doesn't really fit the bill as one, it seems more like a skywinder drake from MTG, slender sleek, fragile, and designed to remain aloft for decades at a time. Also it's tail doesn't really make sense biologically, why have that rudderless tail? It should have had at least a streamer like taper to it, so the creature could change direction, otherwise this drake will only be able to fly forwards...

I'll make it a bit bigger, the canvas is so tall, I didn't want people scrolling up and down too much. Thanks for the ideas : )

Ahh, yea I suppose it doesn't have to be a dragon per se, some kind of winged creature that reminds me of a dragon at the very least, like a drake : ). And you're right about the tail! I love that movie How to Train a Dragon, and that exact detail was one of the reasons toothless couldn't fly when that part of his tail fell off. I'll see what I can do, I'm not sure if I want to add shapes to it's tail, I like how the tail looks compositionally right now.

Love the long, tall format. This has a real sense of openness. Great work, as always!
