Description
Even though I don't play Skyrim, I was inspired to do a dragon of my own. When I watched my brother play, I was actually disappointed with the dragons in Skyrim, I was hoping to see different types of dragons rather than ones that just breathe ice or fire. So here's my idea for a dragon that lurks silently in dark caves and lures or distracts its prey like an anglerfish.

This is another idea that begs to be stolen and adapted for D&D. I can see it dwelling in the Underdark (although with its wings having adapted into grasping appendages with vestigial webbing) to trap unsuspecting prey. Duergar have learned to avoid it altogether, while drow often steal its lures for their bioluminescent glows (useful in lighting the home as well as in alchemy). Its primary prey are aboleth (which it finds delicious, much like salmon), mind flayers (which it has an immunity to the psychic attacks of), duergar, svirfneblin, and drow (the latter taste like chicken, the dragons say).
In addition to its breath weapon (I wonder what that would be), it can cause minor earthquakes and cast spells such as Transmute Stone to Mud, Passwall, etc. to take maximum advantage of its underground habitat.
Anyone want to take a crack at developing stats for this beastie?
